Seven personal trainers. Find the right one for you.

These are the people on the floor, and between them they cover almost anything you might be training for.

Beginners through to competitive lifters
Rehabilitation and corrective exercise
Pilates and inclusive training

The seven people on the floor

Personal training is arranged directly with the trainer rather than through the gym, so have a read and speak to whoever sounds like the right fit. If you are not sure, fill in the PT enquiry form and we will match you up. They are all on the floor most days.

  • A personal trainer standing on the gym floor with his arms folded

    James Pierce

    Strength, powerlifting and weight loss

James started training at 22.5 stone and lost seven and a half of them. He went on to compete in powerlifting in 2022 and qualified for the British and European championships. He is the person to see if you have never set foot in a gym and want somebody who remembers what that felt like.

  • A personal trainer in a Three Sixty Fitness top

    Samantha Neal

    Women's strength, powerlifting and nutrition

Samantha competes internationally for Team GBR in powerlifting. She started lifting at school and coaches everyone from complete beginners to lifters chasing a competition total, and she works around a coeliac diagnosis, so nutrition advice comes from experience rather than a textbook.

  • A personal trainer photographed against a plain background

    Harry Chaytor-Norris

Fat loss, muscle building and resistance training

Harry changed his own training and eating as a self-conscious teenager and now spends his time helping other people do the same. He builds resistance sessions that fit into the time you actually have, whether that is three hours a week or six.

  • A personal trainer in a Three Sixty Fitness polo shirt on the gym floor

    Emily Knight

    Strength, functional fitness and confidence

A former gymnast finishing an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science and Medicine. Emily teaches gymnastics and Zumba alongside her personal training and has completed Hyrox. What she likes best is watching somebody do a thing they had written off as impossible.

  • A personal trainer in a Three Sixty Fitness polo shirt

    John Bissett

Beginners, body fat and functional strength

Level 3 qualified, and a parent of two young children, so he builds training around real weeks rather than ideal ones. John specialises in getting new members comfortable on the floor and confident with the kit.

  • A personal trainer in a Three Sixty Fitness hoodie

    Dave Slater

Pilates, inclusive training and outdoor group fitness

Level 3 personal trainer and Pilates instructor, with Level 2 Understanding Autism and Level 3 Programming for Disabled Clients. Dave works with all abilities and ages and is the reason we can honestly say the floor is open to everybody.

  • A personal trainer in a yellow Three Sixty Fitness polo shirt

    Sarah Dobbs-Kochis

    Corrective exercise, rehabilitation and flexibility

NASM and ACE Level 4, plus Pilates, TRX, boxing and kettlebells, and nineteen years of ballet behind all of it. Sarah has taught ski conditioning in Aspen and run pre and post surgical exercise programmes on a US Air Force base. If something hurts when you train, she is the one to ask.

Questions about personal training

Yes. Personal training happens on the gym floor, so you need a membership to be in the building. See the four memberships.

Speak to the trainer directly, or fill in the PT enquiry form and we will match you to whoever fits your goals. They set their own rates and availability, and you can always just ask at the desk.

It is worth saying so up front. Sarah works in corrective exercise and rehabilitation and Dave holds a Level 3 qualification in programming for disabled clients, so between them there is usually a sensible way forward.

Several of them specialise in it. James started at 22.5 stone himself, John focuses on getting new members confident on the floor, and every membership includes a free induction before you go anywhere near a trainer.

TRAIN WITH SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE FLOOR

Come in and meet them. Most days you will find at least two or three of them working with members.
